About This Safari
This 5-Day Great Migration Calving Safari takes you across Tarangire, Central Serengeti and the Ndutu plains, where vast herds gather during the calving season. Expect exceptional wildlife encounters, predator action and beautiful Tanzanian landscapes, combined with comfortable accommodation and expertly guided private safari experiences.
In just 5 days, you’ll explore Tarangire’s elephant-rich landscapes, travel through the Central Serengeti and spend two full days in Ndutu, one of the key areas for witnessing the Great Migration during calving season.

Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, with opportunities to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and numerous bird species before heading to your lodge or camp for the evening.

Today, continue south toward Ndutu, following the seasonal migration route. Enjoy game viewing along the way as you enter the calving-season area.
Depending on wildlife movements, you may encounter large wildebeest herds, newborn calves and predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas. Arrive at your Ndutu accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

5 Day 5 Ndutu – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha Breakfast, Lunch
After breakfast, depart Ndutu and continue toward the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor.
Explore its diverse habitats, home to elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos and other wildlife, with a chance to spot the endangered black rhino. After the crater experience, ascend the escarpment and continue to Arusha, arriving later in the afternoon.
