About This Safari
This 4-Day Great Migration Safari takes you across Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Highlands and the legendary Ndutu plains during Tanzania's spectacular calving season. Witness vast wildebeest herds, newborn calves and the predators that follow them across the short-grass plains.
In just 4 days, you’ll explore Tarangire National Park, travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands and spend two days in the Ndutu area, one of the most important calving grounds of the Great Wildebeest Migration. The journey ends with a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, home to an exceptional concentration of wildlife.

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant population, ancient baobab trees and seasonal wildlife concentrations.
Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park's savannah, river valleys and woodland areas. Look for elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes and numerous bird species before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

4 Day 4 Ndutu – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha Breakfast, Lunch
After an early breakfast, drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside this spectacular natural amphitheatre.
Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. After lunch or an appropriate break, ascend the crater and continue to Arusha, where your safari ends.
