Early Morning: Zanzibar to Arusha
Transfer from your Zanzibar hotel to the airport for your flight to mainland Tanzania. Your arrival airport will be selected according to flight availability and the most practical itinerary. Meet your safari guide and travel by road to Arusha National Park.
Morning and Afternoon: Explore Arusha National Park
Enjoy a guided game drive through the park’s different habitats. Look for giraffes and buffalo in open areas, and watch for black-and-white colobus monkeys in the forest.
Explore the Momella Lakes area and stop at scenic viewpoints where time and conditions permit. Enjoy a packed lunch at a designated picnic site before continuing your visit.
An optional ranger-guided walking safari can be requested in advance. Within a one-day itinerary, this may replace part of the game drive.
Late Afternoon or Evening: Return to Zanzibar
Leave the park in time for your airport transfer and return flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, transfer back to your hotel.
